The patchwork star mittens are mittens with a fair-isle pattern. It is knitted from the cuff up and can look very different, according to your color choices. They are quite warm, as the mittens are knitted with two strands with a smaller needle size than the wool calls for. It is a strong recommendation from me to use scrap yarn, that way your mittens are going to be totally unique, just like you are.
