A summer tee for Scotland. Knit from a woolly yarn to give structure (and some warmth!). Designed to be loose-fitting casual wear and inspired by the symbols used on maps to show walking trails.

My favourite way of exploring Scotland is on foot, on one of the many beautiful paths/trails that cross through the country. The ‘trails’ are created with simple eyelets that strategically cross the body of the tee in a shape-flattering way in the front and intertwine down the centre back.

Knit from the top down, the Pathfinder top starts by working the front and back flat before joining them in the round to knit the body. The sleeves are then picked up around the armhole and knit down to fall just above the elbow. The only shaping is around the neckline, and drop shoulders allow for simplicity in the overall knit.
