Pathway
Life is a journey of many paths. Some paths are steep and challenging, requiring every ounce of your your will power to survive. Others are calm and peaceful, as they meander through the pleasant meadows of life. So too are knitting patterns. Some patterns are intricate and challenging, thrilling in their charts and fiddly passages. Others are zen like, inviting you to relax your worries away through the simple pleasures of repeating one stitch after another.
Pathway is one such a knit.
Pathway is peacefully simple. It is a “Knit until you run out of yarn” pattern, so work as many pattern repeats as necessary to accommodate your yarn, or until you become bored. There is no wrong way to knit it. Worked flat in garter stitch, the final product is a reversible, asymmetrical triangle that can be worn wrapped as a scarf, or draped elegantly as a small shawl.
Designed specifically to highlight the slow color progression of Twice Sheared Sheep’s new Echo yarn, Pathway is perfect to show off any graduated or hand dyed yarn that strikes your fancy.
Simple in it’s execution, but addictive to knit, Pathway will be a joy from cast on to bind off.
