About the pattern:

These socks are knit from the cuff down to the toe. There is twisted ribbing at the cuff, knit and purl stitches to create a texture pattern, and a short-row heel. I designed these socks for my mother, Patricia, who is so supportive of all the things I do.

Materials:

  • About 300 yards of fingering weight yarn
  • US 1 / 2.25 mm double-pointed needles or circular needle to knit in magic loop (or size needed for gauge)
  • 2 stitch markers
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 2 inches in Stockinette Stich
