My mother Patricia taught me to knit 50 years ago and has been in my corner ever since. As a mother of six children, she has recieved many handmade gifts over the years. I designed this to celebrate her 85th birthday with silver “purls” to match her silver hair.

This is a top down pattern for a scarf in one size. The increases are made at the beginning and end of each row, creating a lace edge. The body of the scarf is worked in stockinette with eyelet bands and contrast color bobble bands.
