Patrington and Withernsea
“Patrington and Withersea posses lovely guernsey patterns. This guernsey has a rather shallow neck, composed of alternate panels of ladder stitch and double moss, divided by rope stitch, two ropes side by side form the center back, front and down the sleeves.” (Page 9)
Originally published in 1969. No yarn or gauge specified. Based on a museum guernsey by Mrs. Foster of of Withernsea.
Many of the patterns in the book are made from 5 ply gansey yarn.
