This pattern is for a set of 2 double thick crocheted Patriotic Heart pot holders. One side will be a heart shaped flag, the other side will be “USA” with a couple of fireworks. Can be made with yarn of your choice (cotton and acrylic both work) with the color combinations of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the wonderful colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used a size “H” for the ones pictured.

Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: H / 5.0 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Medium worsted weight or medium cotton yarn of your choice (I used Caron One Pounder in White for the main color, Caron One Pounder Scarlet, and Caron One Pounder Royalty)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Approximate finished size: 8 ½ inches x 9 ½ inches
Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)

CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch
RS = Right Side
WS = Wrong Side

You will be cross stitching the “USA” and fireworks on the one side of the pot holder (chart is included).
