Patty the Pillow Pony
Patty the pony is a fun-loving gal. She likes long walks in the woods and be warned - she’s a blanket hog.
Patty is dedicated to my Aunt Patty, who was one of the first adults in my childhood to help me understand that nourishing my creative “smarts” was just as important as math “smarts” or science “smarts.” Although Aunt Patty passed away many years ago from cancer, I swear I can sometimes still hear her cheering me on.
Worked in worsted weight yarn on US size 6 (4.0 mm) needles, Patty is 13” high from the bottom of her body to the tops of her ears, and is 14” long from the tip of her nose to her tail. I used about 325-350 yards for her.
I’d say that Patty is an intermediate knit. Her pattern calls for using the Turkish Cast On or Judy’s Magic Cast on, and the Kitchener Stitch. Also cabling.
The purchase of this pattern entitles you to make as many Patty’s for personal use as you’d like. Reproduction of the pattern for the purposes of distribution is prohibited; as is selling your finished Pattys.
