This pattern is for Paul and Pippa, the penguins.

The pattern contains 3 different body patches. This way you can make the penguin with either an oval patch, or a big heart or even 2 smaller hearts.

The size depends on the yarn you work with. I have worked with Schachenmayr Catania Originals
Croecht hook 3 mm
Size : approx. 15 cm high – 8 cm wide

Necessary knowledge:

chain
single crochet (sc)
slip stitch
increase
decrease
Magic Ring

For the hearts, you also need to know:

half-double crochet
double crochet
triple crochet
trippling (3 stitches in 1 stitch of the previous round)

The pattern is 8 pages long. Each line is written out, even the repeats, this way you can cross out what you have finished.

If you use thicker yarn, the penguin will be bigger. Just make sure all the colours have the same thickness, this way it will all fit together
