Pavarti
by Andi Smith
This powerful Hindu goddess of love, devotion, and benevolence was the wife of Shiva. Pavarti had over 100 different incarnations, each with its own personality, making this the perfect name for a sock that can be manipulated and changed as many different ways as there are feet. The purled background both offers the perfect counterfoil for a pretty V-shaped lace, and also affords us the perfect place to change up our stitch counts.
This pattern is one of the beautiful patterns in the Big Foot Knits book by Andi Smith.
