Pavia is a cozy pullover with generous sizing and interesting details. The curved bottom is worked flat in two pieces, then front and back are joined and worked in the round to the low underarm. Batwing sleeves are worked separately and attached to the yoke with raglan shaping. An oversized braided cable embellishes the center front to the mock turtle neck. The hem is picked up and worked in loose ribbing to finish the look. This will be a favorite sweater for year-round wear!

This pattern includes 8 sizes with 36 (40, 44, 48) (52 56, 60, 64) inch or 91 (102, 112, 122) (132, 142, 152, 163) cm chest circumference. This design has a loose fit and is meant to be worn with 6-8” (15-20cm) of positive ease.

The gauge is 16 sts and 24 rows over 4” (10cm) in Stockinette stitch, blocked.

This is an intermediate level pattern. Knitters should have experience with knitting simple cables, following a cable chart or written instruction, knitting flat and in the round. Knitters will also use short rows (W&T), basic shaping techniques, and Kitchener Stitch technique.

The recommended yarn for this pattern is: Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted (100% Organic Cotton, Worsted weight yarn; 150 yds/100g): 7 (8, 9, 10) (11, 12, 13, 14) hanks in Honeydew #602
