This pattern will take you through creating a Cap’n Turbot doll start to finish. You will create all the extra pieces and then the doll from head to foot, sewing the extra pieces on and securing with knots as you go. This makes it sturdy for playing with a toddler. The completed doll stands up and is about 11.5” tall.

You will need yarn in the following colours:

• red (hat and boots)
• dark or medium brown (hair and eyebrows)
• white or very light blue (glasses lenses)
• medium blue (glasses frames, shirt, suspender buttons)
• white (undershirt)
• pale pink (light toned skin colour)
• yellow (pants)
• black (boots)

You will also need:

• black embroidery thread (eyes)
• dark tan or light brown embroidery thread (mouth)
• stuffing
• darning needle (optional)
