Pattern is written in American crochet terminology and is rated Intermediate. Please note that this pattern is rated intermediate not because of its difficulty, but because there is such a variety of stitches used but mostly because it is a bit more labor intensive than other patterns I have designed. It may take you a little longer to work up, but it is totally worth it in the end! Stitches used are:

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
sc2tog = single crochet 2 together
sc3tog = single crochet 3 together
hdc2tog = half double crochet 2 together
dc2tog = double crochet 2 together
fpsc = front post single crochet
bphdc = back post half double crochet
rsc = reverse single crochet or crab stitch
