How many of our hearts have been touched by an angel with paws? I know that I have experienced this blessing in my life.

The inspiration for this design came from the recent loss of my pet (I hate to use the word PET as they are so much more than that!) I wanted to design something that honored that feeling of loss and love that I could wear forever in her memory.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be donated to a local animal rescue organization. For all of you who have encountered an “Angel with Paws”, I hope you will love and cherish this pattern.

The design of this Cowl includes lace stitches that create a heart motif and its mirror image reflected, paw print motif and a fluted edges.

The Cowl starts with a Provisional Cast On, worked flat (back and forth) and then joined by grafting the ends together using a Kitchener grafting method.
