Paws Around My Neck
Paws Around My Neck was inspired by my love of animals and a desire to create a pattern for my wonderful Mother who is as nutty about animals as I am.
Depending on the size you intend to make, this pattern utilizes approximately 200-400 yards of DK weight yarn. As gauge is not super critical, you can easily substitute other yarn weights. You may need to add/remove repeats if you substitute a yarn weight that is quite different from the pattern as written.
The pattern is written partially as a recipe that leaves the number of repeats up to the knitter. This is in order to customize the final product to what each knitter prefers. Sample photos in the pattern show 4 and 5 repeats of the paw print pattern and several test knitters did 3.
The only additional materials required are a darning needle for weaving in your ends. This pattern is designed to be knit in the round seamlessly.
If you wish to make finished objects from this pattern for resale, please credit the pattern.
