Pawsome pup pullover
Welcome to Pawsome pup pullover!
This sweater is knitted top down. It’s a basic kid’s sweater, which has a button band on front so it’s easy to slip through, but it has still a good fit around the neck. This design has a round yoke, and it’s gradually increased till the sweater got the desired bust circumference.
After reaching the desired yoke depth, the sleeves are separated from the body and then knitted to the stated length of sleeves and body. The “dog” pattern is not a must, so you can decide, if it fits to the personal style. You can make it plain, or with stripes. This instruction should give you the basic form so you can adapt for your child’s desire.
Every child has a different body. My son is 3 years old but weighs only 13 kg and has a slim body. I chose to make the size of 2 years old, just make the sleeves and the body longer.
generally the sizes are calculated so that it fits the oldest size in the size range. so if you child is 6 years old, maybe the 4-5 years old could fit better that 6-7 years old. pls look at the measurements and pick the size which fits best to your child’s measurements.
