Paz is a hatchling of Leatherback turtle, at least in shape because in size it is a bit bigger than a real hatchling!!

It is worked from nose to tail, joining some pieces as you go and sewing others. To make the ridges and edges, you’ll need to work over the body, making some surface stitches (regular and reverse single crochet).

The approximate size with the materials listed in the pattern is: 9” from head to tail by 14” from tip to tip of the front flippers. (23cm x 35cm).

DIFFICULTY: Advanced beginner to intermediate.

To make this turtle you’ll need:
* Main color: 100-120g of grey yarn. Other options are blue or brown, although you can use any color you like!
* Contrasting color: 30g of cream colored yarn or a lighter color than your main color.
* Crochet hook: 3.5mm to work with WW yarn, or the best size for the yarn you are using.
* 12mm safety eyes or round buttons. You can adjust the size if you want.
* Markers or spare yarn
* Stuffing material, yarn needle and scissors

Paz es una cría de tortuga laúd, al menos en forma porque su tamaño es un poco más grande que el de una cría de verdad!!

Se trabaja desde la nariz hasta la cola, uniendo algunas piezas a medida que avanzas y cosiendo otras al final. Para hacer las crestas y los bordes, se necesita trabajar sobre el cuerpo realizando algunos puntos en la superficie (punto bajo regular y punto cangrejo).

El tamaño aproximado con los materiales como se señalan en el patrón es: 23cm de la cabeza a la cola por 35cm de punta a punta de las aletas delanteras.

DIFICULTAD: principiante avanzado a intermedio.

Para hacer esta tortuga se necesita:

• Color principal: 100-120g de estambre gris. Otras opciones de color son azul o café, aunque se puede utilizar cualquier color que te guste!
• Color de contraste: 30g de estambre de color crema o un color más claro que tu color principal.
• Gancho: 3.5 mm para trabajar con estambre WW (10ply) o el mejor tamaño para el estambre que estes utilizando.
• Ojos de seguridad o botones redondos de 12 mm. Puedes ajustar el tamaño si lo deseas.
• Marcadores o estambre de sobra
• Material de relleno, aguja lanera y tijeras
