Pea could not let her sister Mouse be the only one to show her love of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pea took it one step farther and wears her favorite players number on her leg warmers.

Things Pea and Troy Polamalu have in common (according to Pea):

1. They are both really smart.
2. They are both really fast.
3. They both have to be wherever the ball is and take it away from the other person/dog.
4. If they don’t get to the ball first, that other person/dog deserves to be tackled.
5. If the quarterback/mama/papa throwing the ball is too slow, they deserve to be sacked.

The pattern is both written and charted (written on blog post, charted here in images because I don’t know how to make a PDF). The numbers can be made using intarsia or duplicate stitch. I did duplicate stitch because I am horrible at intarsia.

Colors and jersey numbers can be swapped, but let’s not tell Pea. =]
