Size S/M/L (to fit bust 88/92/96cm, to fit hips 94/98/102), all dimensions are in cm.

The cardigan has set-in-sleeve construction and is worked in one piece from the bottom to the top.

Short rows are used to create shoulder slopes.
Shoulder slopes and neckline of the back is made together in one piece without cutting the yarn.

Stitches are picked up and worked in moss stitches to create the front bands. Horizontal buttonholes are made on the right band without cutting the yarn.

Sleeves are made flat and sewn into armholes.

You will need 10 buttons 20mm for front fastening, 2 buttons 1.5mm, for half-belt and 1 thin interior 2mm button.

Gauge: 23sts x 33rows in 10cm – stockinet, 24sts x 38rows – moss pattern.

Yarn: 900/1000/1100g of wool. As I unknitted old sweater from Bonner by Ireland I can not give exact yardage. But my own measurements say the yardage is about 400m/100g.
The yarn is held double.

Needles: circular 3.0mm, 2.5mm.

I could not find buttons that match the color of my item so I knitted covers for black ones. If you want your button to be covered with knitted fabric you will need 2mm socking needled. The pattern has instruction how to do that with some photo illustrations.
