Introducing my Pea Pod knitting pattern. These three peas in a pod are a fun knit to use up any odds and ends of green yarn. Peas are botanically a fruit, but commonly referred to as a vegetable.

My knitted Vegetable Box are super toys to encourage little ones to eat veg and greens, or you can use them as decorative items in your home. My veggies are worked flat, but most pieces could easily be converted to knitting in the round if that is your preference.

PATTERN INFO:

• The pea pod is 12 cm long.
• The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.
• You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

• A pair of straight 2.75 mm (US 2) single-pointed knitting needles
• Double knitting yarns (DK or light worsted weight)
• A few handfuls of toy filling
