Pea Shoots
If you are looking for a fun and fast project, then this is the cowl for you. Perfect for the early spring when the weather is still a bit chilly but you can start wearing fashionable accessories again. Plus the bright green will shake you out of the winter blues.
Skills: Knitters will be required to work in the round, knit and pearl, decrease using k2tog, ssk, skpo, and sk2po. Description of last two sts included.
Materials: Needles; 5mm 24’’ circular needle and sts marker.
Yarn: Tanis Fiber Arts Green Label Aran Weight in Lemongrass. 100% Superwash Merino Wool.
Guage: 4.5 sts and 8 rows per inch.
This pattern is worked over 27 sts plus 8 knit stitches in between each of the 4 pattern sections on the cowl. The pattern is repeated a total of 3 times excluding rows 1&2 but you can continue to repeat the pattern until desired height. This pattern is designed to require only one skein at 115g (4oz) = 187 m (205v). Additional skeins are needed if you choose to make the cowl higher.
