Hi! I’m Carly, and I’m 15 years old. I’ve been crocheting since I was 6!

I was inspired to design this sweater pattern after wanting to branch out from my normal neutral-toned work. While looking at yarn at my local store, I found a ball of yarn that was a perfect fit for my design idea! Between making the squares the perfect size to fit correctly on the neckline, the triangular patches for the underarms to make sleeves fit perfectly, and working the squares in continuous rounds so that the colors work overall, this pattern required lots of math to create! The main stitch used for each square is simple to make and creates a solid fabric so that a tank top is not required with this sweater. Additionally, this sweater has cute details, like the square neckline, textured edging, and the visible seaming method that adds extra character. You are sure to turn heads and receive compliments when wearing this sweater!

Skills: This is an intermediate level pattern.
