Peace In 8 Rounds Mandala
Great for beginners! This is a good mandala for beginners as you only need to know how to make chains, double crochets and slip stitches.
As it is a very simple mandala, its appeal lies in your colour choices. I used 7 different colours, moving from light to dark, but any colours and shades can be used.
I created this mandala to be relaxing crochet while beginning week 6 of fighting the flu. I wanted something very easy to make while feeling ill and watching tv.
If you post a photo of this mandala on Instagram I would appreciate you tagging it #peacein8rounds so I can see your crocheted version of my free pattern. Thank you!
The finished mandala is 21cm wide with 8ply DK with a 4mm hook. You could use 10ply worsted and a 5mm hook, or any yarn with a matching hook, but the finish size will vary. It only needs scraps of yarn to complete.
The website has step by step photos and the option of a photo tutorial handout or a written instructions only pattern handout.
I hope you enjoy the pattern and feel relaxed making it!
Cheers,
Jane
