Pattern description: “Get in touch with your inner flower child by knitting up this laid-back shoulder bag. It’s all knit and purl, and the use of short rows in the handle gives it shape. Because it’s worked with a double strand and “knit down” on smaller needles, the bag is too tight to let precious objects slip through the knit.“

Needles: size 8 (5mm) circular, 29 inches or longer

Pattern calls for 2 skeins (50g each) for the body and 2 skeins (50g each) for the shoulder strap.

The sample in the book may have been knit using Artfibers Nemo, a bulky-weight yarn, possibly as a single-strand equivalent to holding two strands together.
