This is a fun little mitten pattern created from the need to destash my yarn leftovers. I also think we can use all the Peace, Love and Harmony we can get these days! I used approximately 100 yds of two colors of contrasting yarn to complete them.

Designed to be an oh-so-simple fair isle pattern, I also used the afterthought thumb because I find it to be so easy, and afterthought thumbs suit the shape of my hands.

These mitts could be made larger, with the use of thicker yarn and larger needles…or by the addition of striped rows for height and/or increases between pattern stitches for width.

Have fun with this pattern! Change it up as you see fit.

Sending you peace, love, and harmony.

ps: this pattern should be printed in color….my stitch app wouldn’t let me do symbols, so I used colors!
