Peace Rose
You love the roses – so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses, as they rain
From off the shaken bush. Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and white
And soft to tread on. They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be
Like sleeping and like walking all at once!
-- George Eliot, ‘The Spanish Gypsy’, 1868

Needles
4mm / US 6 needle or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge
20 sts and 42 rows per 10cm / 4inches in garter stitch after blocking.
While gauge is not critical for this project, it will affect amount of yarn required.
Notions
Stitch Markers, both ring and locking and a tapestry needle. I also found a set of scales useful, to get the most out of my yarn.
Sizes
Small (large)
length 164 (188) cm / 64.5 (74) inches.
width 22 (34) cm / 8.5 (13) inches.
Pattern notes
Worked from tip to tip, this is a relaxing garter knit in which you can use your favourite mini skein sets.
This pattern has been tested.
