The Peace Scarf is the 3rd pattern in my 12-pattern Fruit of the Spirit Collection. This is a fun pattern for coordinating sock yarn sets.

This striped, asymmetrical scarf is knit flat on the long edge and incorporates knit stitch, purl stitch, make one stitch increase (knitter can use preferred increase that is NOT a yarn over), and wrap and turn short rows.

Yarn requirements are 690 yards/631 meters of fingering weight yarn. Approximately 460 yards/421 meters in the main color and 230 yards/210 meters in the contrast color. Other supplies needed include stitch markers (optional) and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge is 20 stitches to 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch on a US8/5.0mm.

Finished scarf size after blocking is 78in/198cm long and 20in/51cm wide at widest point.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is…peace…against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
