It uses basic stitches - double, single, and half double crochets - as well as double crochet 2 together. The pattern includes instructions for womens sizes small through 5X. Supplies needed:
Yarn: 2 oz of Worsted weight #4, I recommend cotton or a cotton blend. I used Lion Brand 24/7 cotton yarn. If you want to use multiple colors, the pattern will not instruct you as to when to change colors, this will be a personal choice for you to decide.
Hook: 4.0 mm
