Peaceful Poncho
The Peaceful Poncho is a simple, but gratifying pattern that isn’t boring, but yet not too tricky either. This is an asymmetrical poncho that uses about 650 yards of heavy worsted or aran weight yarn. Use an ombre yarn, handspun, or leftover yarn from other projects.
As written, the pattern produces a Small/Medium size poncho. I’ve included modifications to make it smaller or larger in the pattern. My instructions are written out, and I’ve included some tutorial photos.
You should get about 3-4 stitches per inch, depending on your tension and how you crochet, and depending on the yarn that you use. Recommended yarns are heavy worsted or aran weight yarn.
The poncho can be worn with one V in the front and one in the back or boat neck style with the V’s on each shoulder.
This is my introductory pattern! I hope you enjoy it.
