This hat is a wish for the world to take a moment and remember that we are all the same. All of us human. A wish for peace, not war. A wish for us to all find hope in our lives. All it takes to begin with is a little love, a little thought, a little dove. The world will never be perfect as we are imperfect beings. So the dove is there to remind us of what we can be. A little kinder, a little purer, a little more caring for those not just like us.

This hat is worked in Malabrigo Rios in 5 sizes to fit Newborn through XLarge heads. Each chart is slightly different by size to fit the stitch count. Small shown in photos. Shown with a Fairy Pull at the top, but a Pom Pom or Tassel can be used instead. Always choose size based on finished circumference. Copyright 2023 by Lisa McFetridge

Finished Height: approx (6.5, 7, 8.25, 8.75, 9 ) in / (16.5, 18, 21, 22.25, 23 ) cm
Finished Circumference: (13.75, 16, 18.25, 21, 23 )in / ( 35, 40.5, 46.5, 53.5, 58.5 )cm
Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in stranded Stockinette stitch, blocked.

Materials:
MC - Malabrigo Rios Worsted in HOLLYHOCK or desired MC
- ( 90,115,125,135,145 ) yds / ( 82,105,114,124,133 ) m
CC - Malabrigo Rios Worsted in NATURAL or WHITE
- ( 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 ) yds / ( 46, 55, 64, 73, 82 ) m
Add yardage if making pompom or tassel.
Any worsted weight yarn that meets gauge can be used in any colors desired.

Needles:
US 6 (4 mm) 16 or 24 in circular needles
OR size to obtain gauge (16 in length recommended for XSmall and Small )
Circs 1 size smaller than size above if using smaller needle for roll rim.
US 7 (4.5mm) DPNs OR same size as larger needles above
Crochet Hook size G / 4.25 mm if doing Fairy Pull on top.
