The subtle shades of gray and apricot in this skein drew me in from the beginning, and the lovely, sheepy quality of the Romney fiber is just perfect for rustic, warm mitts. These are going to LAST. (which makes me really happy because I really love them…)

The Heirloom Romney yarn knits up into a warm and durable fabric, and the Butternut color makes for a gorgeous, unexpected neutral against a gray or navy jacket (which I have both of). I used a simple, repetitive cable to make a simple texture on the hands and added a deep ribbing that can be worn long or cuffed.

They knit up in no time and the ladies at Fancy Tiger have a ton of gorgeous colors to choose from - maybe you need a few pairs to match your different jackets?
