Part of The Peachy collection, these pretty lace socks are knit from the top down, they have a heel flap, gusset and wedge toe.
The Lace panel is worked just on the front of the sock using simple increases, decreases and a simple cable.
These socks are a fun and engaging knit and the repeat is easy to memorise.
Yarn
1 skein/ 100 grams/ 425 m / 465 yards of
fingering weight yarn.
Sample was knit using Loom hand dyed yarns,
Twist sock, 80/ 20 SW Merino / Nylon sock
base, ‘White Peach’ colourway.
Needles
2.25 mm / US 1 circular needle 80 cm /32 inch
for magic loop or 2.25 mm / US 1 set of DPN’s
or size needed to get gauge.
Gauge
32 sts and 46 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches over
unstretched lace pattern and stockinette.
Notions
Stitch markers, a tapestry needle, and a cable
needle (optional).
Sizes
Small, (Medium, Large)
Finished sock circumference, unstretched
18 (20.5, 23) cm / 7 (8, 9 inches).
I would recommend picking a size that gives
you, 1.25 cm to 2.5 cm / 0.5 to 1 inch of
negative ease.
Model is wearing a Medium size with a foot
circumference of 22 cm / 8.5 inches.
Leg length worked in sample is 18 cm / 7
inches (leg and foot length are fully
adjustable)
