Peacock and Poppycock
This handsome Peacock can be crocheted to face right or left. The body is crocheted separately and sewn to the fancy tail. Slip stitches keep the body from curling and add details such as topknot and beak.
The Poppycock has the body of the peacock, but you choose its tail and topknot from among the flowers and leaves in the book.
