Peacocks are just the most elegant, graceful and artistically inspiring creatures. I just love all those colours!
The pattern was developed for my mum to create as she ‘fancied another challenge’. So between me and my mum we came up with the idea that I would design her some ‘challenges’ and she would enjoy creating them. And here we are!
We have developed the pattern in different formats to follow: in a grid/block chart pattern to follow throughout, crochet symbols (for the first 10 rows so that you understand how to increase on each row) and written instructions for the first few lines until you get into the swing of it!
The yarn used was a scheepjes whirl in lovely blue hues, which looks stunning, however you can use any 4 ply yarn to create this adult size shawl.
Knowledge of filet crochet is needed to be able to do this project. Filet crochet is not hard to learn and there are you tube video to help.
