Peacock Collar
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
yarn used: wibra mini, but all thin yarn worked with a 2mm hook will suffice.
next to yarn also a pearl is needed to fasten the two ends of the collar/necklace
this design was inspired by the art nouveau movement during the fin de siècle (approx 1890-1920s). They also drew a lot of figurative peacocks with clearly separated feathers. The technique used is similar to the African flower used for blankets; though with some minor changes to create the look of separate peacock feathers.
