Our first home on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau was a fourth floor apartment with lots of neighbors and concrete. One neighbor had a pet peacock. Every week or so she would bring him outside while she cleaned his cage. Over the course of that year, my daughter and I spent many hours gazing at the gorgeous sheen of his blue and green hues. The radiance of our yak/silk blend and the Cerulean and Jewel colorways remind me so much of our peafowl friend, I couldn’t help but use both colors for this neckerchief ! But you can also complete this beginning-lace-knitter-friendly pattern with one skein. Enjoy!
