This PDF crochet pattern is for a crocheted peacock feather called “Nemali,” which looks fabulous in all kinds of color combinations. I can imagine you might want to use them to make drinks coasters, garlands or to decorate box lids, notebook covers or laptop / tablet sleeves, to name but a few possibilities. And they make lovely birthday, teacher, holiday or housewarming gifts.

Pattern includes:

1. Clear written instructions and a photo tutorial for “Nemali” Peacock Feather
2. Instructions for the garland string with little feathers at each end
3. US and UK crochet terms
4. Details on Scheepjes Catona yarn and the colors I used

Yarn and hook sizes:
Scheepjes Catona 100% mercerized cotton, sport weight, 5 ply: 2.5 mm hook.
Scheepjes Colour Crafter 100% premium acrylic, DK: 4.5 mm hook and 4 mm hook for the garland string.

Feather sizes:
Approx. 11 x 14 cm / 4.4 x 5.6 inch for the cotton version
Aprrox. 14 x 18 cm / 5.6 x 7.2 inch for the acrylic version
