-
Needles 3mm US2.5 circulars (or size to get gauge) on 60-80cm 24-32” cable
-
Notions tapestry needle
The gauge is 24 stitches by 21 garter ridges (42 rows) measured in garter stitch per 1010cm 44”] square after wet blocking
Matching gauge is important! If you knit loosely, use a needle size 0.25-0.5 smaller.
Construction - Peacock Feather is a triangular asymmetric shawl, starting from the top right corner. It is shaped with a centered double decrease along the ‘spine’ and first symmetric increases at both ends of the row until you reach the maximum depth, and after that decreases at the left edge and increases at the right edge.
The finished and blocked shawl is 150cm 59” wide by 65cm 255/8” deep.
See Ravelry pattern page on multiple ways to style it in different directions!

If you would like to complement your shawl with a matching hat, I would encourage you to look into these 3 beautiful designs by Woolly Wormhead (and her Ravelry store in general, if you are a fan of short-row prints or accessories in general!) and choose the one you like best!
