Peaks and Dales is a simple cuff-down sock with a patterned design on the leg and across the top of the foot. It is a one-size pattern which produces socks which fit adult feet between 5.5 and 7.5 (UK sizes).

It has an easy-to-remember pattern repeat, presented in written instructions and in chart-form, and includes suggestions for how to adapt for a larger or smaller foot.

This pattern works best with a solid coloured yarn rather than a variegated yarn where the textured pattern is not as visible.
