Peanut Butter
by Patty Nance
Creamy or chunky? Everyone has a favorite. Just like peanut butter, yarn comes in smooth and bumpy versions as well. For this project, you don’t have to choose because it has both, and then some. Pairing the smooth Merino Mia with the highly textured “Stuff”, all within the same colorway, is a dramatic way to present these yarns.
This project features the bargello knitting technique.
Pattern notes
The scarf body is worked sideways, from end to end with edge segments to maintain the color pattern. The textured border is then picked up along the stair-step edge and worked in garter stitch. The bind off is worked with a larger needle for a loose edge.
