Peanut Butter Blossoms Cowl
The original inspiration for this cowl came from this beautiful hand spun Alpaca yarn that, undyed - is the exact color of peanut butter, and my husbands love of Peanut butter blossom cookies. It is constructed of rows of little daisy stitch “blossoms” that make a soft, deliciously squishy fabric that will keep you warm on the very coldest of days. If you can’t get any handspun alpaca yarn, any chunky/bulky weight yarn will work for this, I do recommend using a solid color in order for the stitchwork to really pop.
This project took approximately 3 hours to crochet, start to finish.
As a side note, this yarn came from Forest Mills Farm in Lake Ariel PA. The alpaca who so generously donated his fleece is named “Peanut” and lives a happy life, well cared for and loved by his owners.
