As a frequenter of local farmer’s markets, I desired a reusable, machine washable market bag to carry produce home. This Pear Market Bag is perfect.

While this bag may look knitted, it is in fact 100% crocheted. The main stitched used is the waistcoat stitch. This pattern provides not only a list of supplies needed along with stitch abbreviation used, but also a brief written tutorial on how to preform the waistcoat stitch and a link to a visual tutorial. Written instructions are provided in addition to a chart, plus many photographs of the finished product.
