Pear Scarf Pattern

This knitting pattern for the Pear Scarf is suitable for advanced knitters. The pear scarf is made in a tube shape, to make it double sided. It combined intarsia as well as stranded knitting. By pulling some colour strands from one side to the other, the design can be mirrored on the back of the scarf and is two sided. The scarf is one size.
Materials needed for the Pear Scarf
- 3.5 circular needles with a long cable (60cm or longer)
- A darning needle
- Scissors
- 8 skeins of Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt in Navy (shade 5591, not on their website anymore)
- 4 skeins of Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt in Red (shade 4018)
- 3 skeins of Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt in Cream (shade 1012)
- 1 skein of Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt in Brown (shade 3082)
Gauge swatch
A 10x10cm swatch is 21 stitches wide and 33 rows tall
Please make a gauge swatch before starting so that you are certain your sweater will be the right size.
Size
The scarf is one size. It measures 18 centimetres wide, and 136 cm long.
