A pair of textured socks with a band of stranded colorwork on the leg. I’m sure you’ll love to wear these fun pear with a bite socks too. They are knitted cuff down with a short row heel.

Skill level: intermediate.
Techniques: knit/purl in the round, stranded colorwork, short row heel, grafting.
Yarn: Fingering weight sock yarn;
Main color: 350-400 yards (variegated colorway suggested)
Contrasting color 1: 40 yards (yellow or white suggested)
Contrasting color 2: 40 yards (green suggested)
Contrasting color 3: 10 yards (brown suggested)
Size: Woman medium (8” around foot) To modify size, check gauge then go down (smaller) or up (larger) a needle size. Easy tip!
Tools: Size US 1 / 2.25 mm (or size to get gauge) and US 2 / 2.75mm (or one size larger) DPNs, 2 circulars or long circular for magic loop; tapestry needle; scissors; 1 stitch marker.
