The turquoise and gold colors of oriental buildings, especially in Samarkand (Uzbekistan), inspired me to design “Pearl of Orient”.

This shawl is knitted flat in one piece (not in the round) and has a small crochet edge at both ends.

Skill level: for experienced knitters

Size: one size - 169 cm length x 69 cm width

Yarn: 575 grams of Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) - 10 different colors

Materials: 1 circular knitting needle 80 cm/ 32” of size 3 mm/ UK 11/ US 2 ½; 1 crochet hook of size 2 mm/ UK 12/ US C; 1 stitch counter; 1 ruler of size 50 cm

The pattern includes nice photos, a knitting technique tutorial, detailed knitting instructions and clear colored charts.
