This cropped shrug is crocheted with a larger-then-normal hook for the yarn weight to give it a loose drape. It is crocheted from top down, starting with the Shrug, first working in rows until arm holes are made, then finishing in the round. The Collar is then worked seperately and is attached to the Shrug at the end with a row of sc. The piece is finished with Slip Stitch trim around the armholes and back openings.
