About the Pattern

Pearls of Wisdom is an easy to memorize stitch pattern similar to a basketweave. Purl stitches create an interesting texture of little ‘pearls’ around the leg and down the foot, without being too overwhelming for knitting in the round.

This sock knits up faster than you’d think and the texture is subtle, yet interesting. Suitable for both men and women, the sock comes in three different adult sizes to fit a wide range of feet.

You have a choice of toes; either the standard wedge toe that you graft together, or the no-graft toe popularized by Kate Atherley. The no-graft toe is worked similarly to the wedge toe, but the decrease rows are worked in a different order. Complete instructions for both toes are included.
