Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern

Pearl’s Pumpkin Patch is a versatile pattern that can be used for many things. Sizes, yarn amounts and repeats are included for:

Scarf - length of your choice
Baby Blanket / Lap Blanket - 3
Throw - 2 sizes
Larger Blankets - 5 sizes
Table Runner - various lengths
Throw Rug
Bath Mat

Use basically any type of yarn ~ acrylic, cotton or blends in virtually any yarn weight you’d like. The measurements are given using #4 worsted weight yarn, but if you’d like your finished project a bit smaller, use #3 yarn. If you want a nice heavy throw rug or lapghan, use #5 weight yarn. The possibilities are endless!

Use any colors you wish as long as they contrast each other so the design shows.

Stitches Used - US Terms:
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
FLDC - Front Loop Double Crochet 2 Rows Down

Skill Level:
Confident Beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting (stitches listed above), you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is. This is a great pattern to try if you’ve never done mosaic overlay crochet.
