Crochet Mermaid Costume

She will be sailing in the big blue sea in this adorable winterfresh color mermaid costume. This baby crochet pattern is super easy to follow, great for a gift to a new parent, to sell in your own shop, or if your anything like me, just the pure love of making these wee little outfits. The mermaid pattern, comes with instructions for the headband, mermaid body and fin, and the mermaid top. This is the perfect little outfit for those first time pictures. Either way you will loads of fun making and decorating this little gem up.

Pattern is for sizes Newborn - 0-3 Months

Materials:
I used Yarnspirations, Caron One Pound Baby Yarn, color Winterfresh. But
any kind of worsted weight is fine.
1 Ball white worsted weight
Small amount of pink for flowers, or desired color
String pearls, and also loose pearls. You can decorate it however you would
like, this is just what I used.
Size 3.5mm Crochet hook
4mm Crochet hook for Newborn size
Size 4.5mm Crochet hook
Size 5mm Crochet hook 0-3 Month size
Glue gun or craft glue for glueing pearls
Tapestry needle

Stitches Used:
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
hdc2tog – half double crochet together (decrease)
dtr – double treble crochet
Foundation chain – I am adding a small tutorial from Utube for those that are
