Peasant Cardigan for the first days of summer

Materials:
9 oz. 3-ply wool in white
1 oz. 3-ply wool in blue
1 oz. 3-ply wool in pink
2 No. 6 knitting needles
A medium size crochet hook
Measurements:
Length, 18.5 ins.
Bust size, 34 ins.
Sleeve seam, 17 ins.
Tension:
One part. of 18 sts. measures approximately 3.5 ins.
N.B.--Work with double wool throughout. Use separate lengths of wool for each vertical group of knobs in contrasting colours, allowing 1.5 yd. for each group.
The original cardigan was knitted in white with pink and blue “bobbles.”
“Pink, white and blue was the colour scheme for this cardigan. It is gayest worn over a summer dress, or white sports clothes. Designed for the petite figure, it is very smart for the girl in her late teens.”
Errata: Under Right Front, 41st row, it should be rib 9 rather than k 9.
